Warehouse Stock Control Management
Our Warehouse Management System (WMS) tracks the inwards and outwards movements through a series of stock control reports. Our warehouse is fully zoned so we're able to pin point where goods are at any time.
Warehouse Stock - Inwards Goods
All goods are counted and a stocktake is performed against supplier paperwork immediately on receipt of goods. If there are any discrepancies or damage, it can be noted immediately on courier’s paperwork and the client is informed of discrepancies or damage. If no paperwork accompanies goods, CoPak generates paperwork.
Warehouse Stock - Inwards Goods Procedure:
- Product coded / description.
- Sample obtained for client if required.
- Delivery information entered into WMS.
- Zoned into warehouse.
- Items photographed for Warehouse Management System - client can view photos.
- Verify receipt of goods to client.
Each item is allocated its own code and description for stock report and tracking purposes.
It should be noted that existing codes and descriptions can be utilised in our Warehouse Management System to enable easy communication between CoPak and clients.
Warehouse Stock Report
- Produced weekly and faxed or e-mailed.
- Items coded / description.
- Inwards and outwards movements are tracked.
- Stock on hand figures.
Stock reports are utilised by marketing for general stock level information. For checking of stock deliveries, "just in time" purchasing, recycling of obsolete or non-moving items, the following are available, if requested.
Warehouse Movement Report
- Tracks items by code and description.
- Tracks destination (sales personnel and territory).
- Date and time despatched.
- Quantity.
Movement Reports are utilised by marketing to track each item and quantity to its final destination.
Movement Reports can show the amount of material each sales representative or territory has received for the month.

- Instantaneous and accurate stock on hand.
- Eliminates marketing personnel having to physically count and check items.
- Eliminates wastage by reducing over ordering.
- Restriction can be placed on certain stock items i.e. expensive premium items.
